States

The different states the machines and assets can be in the United Manufacturing Hub.

In this chapter the data model of the machine states to relevant OEE buckets are shown.

Introduction

This data model is based on the following specifications:

  • Weihenstephaner Standards 09.01 (for filling)

  • Omron PackML (for packaging and filling)

  • EUROMAP 84.1 (for plastics)

  • OPC 30060 (for tobacco machines)

  • VDMA 40502 (for CNC machines)

Additionally the following literature is respected:

Steigerung der Anlagenproduktivität durch OEE-Management (Focke, Steinbeck)

Abbreviations

The following abbreviations are used

  • WS –> “TAG NAME”: Valuename(number)
  • PackML –> Statename(number)
  • EUROMAP –> Statusname(number)
  • Tobacco –> ControlModeName(number)

Active (10000-29999)

These states represent that the asset is actively producing

Unknown (30000-59999)

These states represent that the asset is in an unspecified state

Material (60000-99999)

These states represent that the asset has issues regarding materials.

Process(100000-139999)

These states represent that the asset is in a stop, which belongs to the process and cannot be avoided.

Operator (140000-159999)

These states represent that the asset is stopped because of operator related issues.

Planning (160000-179999)

These states represent that the asset is stopped as it is planned to stopped (planned idle time).
