What to do when I can’t connect to devices in LAN?

This troubleshooting guide describes how to connect to particular devices in LAN by using ProxMox

Whenever you are not able to connect to any device in LAN network, try the following:

Problem

Multiple Problems:

  1. My PC doesn’t get an IP address

    What to do if I can’t connect to OPNSense when connected to the LAN?

  2. I can’t access any device from inside network - LAN (node-RED, SSH@k3OS, OPNsense)

Solution

  1. Try to connect to ProxMox from the outside network (through machine network, WLAN)
  2. Access to ProxMox when is possible https://ip:8006
